APCP is helping approximately 200 primary care physicians, and over 200 preferred specialists in the Kentucky and Southern Indiana areas.

APCP Preferred Specialists Network

Preferred Specialists with APCP are a select group of high quality specialists who collaborate with APCP primary care physicians to manage the quality and cost of patient care. Preferred Specialists are positioned as part of a narrow network which serves as the primary source of specialty care services for the APCP primary care physicians.

Preferred Specialists agree to participate in all health plans with which APCP contracts, whether on a direct basis, through APCP where offered, or through another provider organization. APCP health plan contracts do not require a percentage off physician claims. Contracting through the IPA for select health plans eliminates additional credentialing/recredentialing paperwork and site visits since APCP is delegated for credentialing. APCP notifies contracted health plans on your behalf of any demographic changes to your practice including new physicians, physician terminations, address, tax identification, and name changes.
